SD won't recognize my MBPro Hard disk Drive
I recently (finally) updated my 2013 MacBookPro to Big Sur 11.2.2. I then had to covert my SeaGate External Drive which I use for my SD backups to APFS.
Finally accomplished that (with a lot of difficulty, lol) but now when I insert the Seagate External Drive to do a backup/clone via my "toaster" it can not seem to find the Hard Disk Drive. I checked "Get Info" by right clicking on the HDD icon which does show the HDD format being APFS. I really need help as I don't understand what the problem is. Does SD backup not work with APFS? I thought it does.....if it does, can you help me with this problem, please so I can perform my backup clone as before....or is there a step I am missing? Am so frustrated and can't figure out what is wrong....Help!!! Many thanks, tuni |
