Error 22
What does "Error 22: Invalid Argument" mean? I get that for a particular file or two occasionally, and just exclude them from the backup, but I thought I should know what it means? Thanks

It's what's the OS call returns to us. It usually means the file itself is malformed in some way. If you send the log in with the "Send to shirt pocket" button, I can look into it a bit more with the details there.

The file seemed OK, it was a Photoshop file but opened up no problem.
Anyway, I'd accumulated so many exclusions over the years that I thought it was time to start fresh so I erased the disk and now it backed up without any problem. Is a periodic erase-and-fresh backup something you recommend? Thanks and Happy New Year! |

Sounds like it was an intermittent error with the destination, then. I'd really need to see the logs to comment. (You certainly shouldn't need to 'accumulate exclusions'!)
