Using SD to backup to an SD Card ?

Hi Dave ~

A few questions around this topic (since SD cards are getting so cheap these days--and more & more Macs have 'em):

1) Can one boot off of an "SD Card slot inserted" SD Card (in one's MB for instance)?
2) Can one boot off of an SD Card inserted into a USB connected SD Card reader?
3) If either 1 or 2, or both, are true: Can we backup using SDup to an SD Card?

Any gotchas in using SDu to do that?

[Btw, I could have searched for prior threads on this topic, but you disallow "SD" as a term (shortcut for SuperDuper means it occurs too often, or just too short at two letters) *and* you seem to not allow "sd card" (quoted terms) in your search box. So I could only search for 'card'--not too helpful...]

There's nothing special about a SD Card - it looks like a drive. So, you can certainly back up to a properly partitioned one, and it should boot fine. (It has here in tests.)
