(Bad) Root Creation Dates
After I run SD, the target volume, regardless of whether it is internal or (FW) external, it is necessary that the "Root creation date be repaired". At least that is the report I always get upon a subsequent run of DiskWarrior 3.0.3. FWIW, the DiskWarrior repair always works.
Indeed, I would hate to have a bad Root Creation date (whatever that is; no one wants bad roots). Huh? Anything I'm doing wrong? Or, should I just fageddaboudit? |
You know, we use Disk Utility behind the scenes to erase the drive, and that creates the "root creation date". Why Disk Warrior always says it's wrong is beyond me -- Apple did it.
In any case, it doesn't hurt anything... |
That works for me Dave. Thanks for the prompt reply, it is truly appreciated!

No problem, Pendragon.
