SuperDuper! 2.7.2 and OS X 10.6.8

This is to report that I've used the latest release of SuperDuper (2.7.2) to backup one of my OS X 10.6.8 partition: now, this copy looks like it is actually bootable [either from the option-key-pressed-restart or from the restart pref panel vantage point], yet when selected for restart, it makes the machine indefinitely emit 3 long beeps as it attempts to boot...

This is especially embarrassing since your home page reads "2.7.2 is still compatible with Snow Leopard (10.6)"...

Well, I just backed up a 10.6.8 system with 2.7.2 and it works fine. So that seems strange to me...especially since long beeps are from the BIOS/EFI, which isn't on the drive. Very strange.

If you update that backup with 2.7.1 (which you can readily download from the SuperDuper page), does it do the same thing?

no, of course: backing up with 2.7.1 works as it always did, i.e. fine!

I cannot reproduce this and haven't had any other reports...this is totally reproducible on your system?
