setup a backup for 5 days (5 versions)

Is there a way to make a backup for 5 days, so i have my work 5 days back. So every monday it will backup monday again and delete last monday. I want more versions of the same backup - but i do not...

Why is the files evaluated not the same from app to app

If i use superduper 2 it evalueated 539.966 files. If i use DataBackup from prosoft, i get 660.000 files.

Is there a reason why superduper copyes fewer files then databackup - both clones works ...

The latest version (v74) - has been out for a long time now.

Different space left on the original and target ?

I have posted this before, and thanks for your feedback. But i still dont get it. :eek:

233 gb = left 74,74 gb
backup disk 233 gb = left 69,75 gb

Why is are there not the same space left on...

When i boot into my backup on my firewiredisk - i have to login as user and with password. But my normal installation runs into the desktop - without password. And my username and password was not...

If i upgrade to 10.4.1 and it runs like shi.... (bad).
Can i then run the bacup 10.4 backup over the 10.4.1,
and get my old system back ????
