Is mounting/unmounting the same as "eject". FOr example, if I eject my backup drive, when I run SD it can;t find it and I have to plug it in again for it to find it...I guess I don't understand the...

I'm new at this. The drive looks like it's accessing info after I backup. Should I unmount. How do you remount?

followup: it's "quiet now", verified okay.

Is it best to leave it mounted? will...
