There is no sparse image to select until SD creates it (or so I think.) I used the 'to' to select 'Disk Image...' which then allowed me to get to the 'Save...

Nice try but no go. In the 'Save As...' I selected the volume instead of the folder within it. Now SD does recognize the 'Dad' instead of the IP address but it still fails. :-(

Reality is that 10.0.1.100 is a statically mapped NAS (Networked Attached Storage) drive. The drive has a host name of NAS-500....
