10.5.2 update doesn't help.
Repair Permissions continues to be very slow in 10.5.2 - I for one was hoping the update might speed this up (It also ramps my processors up to 100% for most of the time it's running). Not much to be done about this, except (as suggested above) not to bother repairing permissions every time, or to be more patient!
