Hi Dnanian,

Thanks for the reply, but I was under the impression that such a restore using DiskUtility is not possible when the image resides on a Samba share (i.e. my WinXP machine), since you cannot mount such a share when you boot from the OSX install disk? The reason I am having this problem is that I do not have a USB/Firewire drive on which to put the image.
