Restore hanging on Copy Files at 0 progress
I've sent in an email just now to support on this, but if anyone else can help, I'd appreciate it...
We sent our MacBook running Leopard 10.5.6 in for AppleCare and it came back with a fresh copy of OS X on it. Luckily we used SuperDuper and we made copies of it to our external FireWire HD. I am able to boot from the SuperDuper backup by holding the Option key at boot time and everything looks as it was. Where we are getting stuck is on the actual restore - I fire up SuperDuper and using "Restore - all files", I copy the external backup to Macintosh HD. It gets past step 1 "Prepare to Copy Files" very quickly, but now is on "Copy Files" and just hanging there. Its been running for 40+ minutes and its still at "0 of 1,397,314 file evaluated, 0 files copied.". Did I do something wrong? This is the paid version of SuperDuper. Thanks, Chuck |
