Size not same my system folder is smaller on copy..
Hey there. I tried to copy my mac osextended journaled drive to a lacie FW drive using the erase and copy procedure with boot enabled. The result is a working boot disk but i noticed that the copy is just less than 1GB smaller than my actual mac HD. Could this just be a cache file or something? I havent added any programs and i have checked the size of my source HD. The missing size is located in the system folder and the users folder :\ does anyone know what this means?

Yes, it's likely cache files, VM swap files, your "sleepimage", etc.
