Backing up networked computers.
Hi all,
I have a question regarding SuperDuper and whether it can support my backup needs. I have a home network with a couple of Macs, an Ubuntu box and a Windows box. If I run SuperDuper from one of the Macs, am I also able to backup files from the Mac that SuperDuper is run from; as well as backing up files from the other Mac, Ubuntu and Windows boxes? Cheers, Diego |

No, Diego: we can't back up files from network drives.

Thanks for the response, Dave. If that's the case, if I want to run SuperDuper! on more than one Mac, do I need more than one license? This is for personal use (just myself), but I would like to use SuperDuper to backup more than one Mac.
Cheers, Diego |

If it's just you, and your Mac(s), one license is sufficient. If the other Mac(s) are used by others, you should get additional licenses.

Yep, it's just me and my Macs. Thanks.
