Clone Install Disc?
Can I clone a bootable disc from my OS X install disc?

Onto a regular partition? You should be able to. To another DVD/CD, use Disk Utility ("Create DVD/CD Master").

I tried it but "Start Up" doesn't see the clone. It is on a partition on a FW400 LaCie.

Is the partition done properly for your Mac type (see the FAQ entry about "My copy won't boot")?

I can't see the clone on Intel or PPC.

How is it partitioned, though? If MBR, you won't see it.
