Reinstalling VMware's 'Fusion'
Following a crash and a complete erase-and-install, I sucessfully migrated all my applications and files from my backup (see my earlier thread), However, while VMware's Fusion seems to have migrated, when I open Fusion and then go to the Virtual Machine Library, and then click on "Run" for the Windows XP Home virtual machine, the message comes up "Failed to connect to peer process." I'm fearfull of reinstalling VMware and then Windows XP that I may loose all the data I have in the Windows programs, such as Quicken.
Would the Windows XP files, e.g. Quicken, are still on the backup? How do I work around this? Appreciate help. Mike |

My guess is that there's a part of Fusion that doesn't migrate. I'd just reinstall Fusion, not WIndows -- remember, you still have the backup.
