Does a Parallells Windows VM get backed up properly?
I don't use Boot Camp. I installed Windows XP using Parallels.
When I backup my drive using SuperDuper, does it copy/clone everything needed to get me back up seamlessly if I lose my main drive, Mac OS AND Windows using Parallels? Dan |

Yes, it is copied. To the Mac OS it is just big ol' Mac file. Trouble is, change one tiny little thing and the whole thing is copied again (i.e. no SmartUpdate within). Because of this and the fact that I don't do anything really critical on the Windows side, I exclude the WM from my SD! SmartUpdate scripts. Now, on my monthly backup I do include it.
