8way zero wipe
I have some rather personal info (think credit cards, personalll dox, etc, etc) So I need to get rid of it. If I do a 8 way zero right, to completely wipe the disk, can I use my super duper back up to boot?

You can, but instead, do it from your OSX install disc.
