interemediary result
Hi, Dave!
After finishing the unencrypted backup I was able to start from it whitout disabling the firmware password or FileVault. I will update another (encrypted) backup, repair it and try again. If it will not work I will remove the firmware password. Regards, Vlad |

Hello and Happy New Year!
After updating my encrypted backup I tried BEFORE removing the firmware password to restart from it... and it worked! I don't really understand why this didn't work before. Nevertheless I removed the firmware password and tested again the restart from the unencrypted backup and from the encrypted one. Everything was ok. I will encrypt again the first backup and try to restart from it. Regards, Vlad |
