Update an Image FAQ
Hey Dave,
I read the Update an Image FAQ, but when I went to create a sprase disk image as instructed, I am not able to create one via Disk Utility on my NAS device. It is connected to my Mac over ethernet, and I have a share on the NAS that I would like to keep my sparse disk image. How can I do this? Mike |

What happens when you try, Mike? You don't have to use the FAQ, since in 2.x you can use the "disk image..." in the destination, and tell it you want a sparse image. We'll handle the rest.
Just make sure you have permission to read/write/create on the volume, and that the NAS is formatted as something that supports >4GB volumes. Most NAS devices should be mounted with SMB, too...
