SuperDuper failing with 10.4.7
The 6/27/06 10.4.7 upgrade somehow broke SuperDuper (latest , build 79 i believe).
Here is what happend: if i manually launch SuperDuper, on launch it fails (before any GUI windows come up). The standard MacOSX dialog comes up, and from there if i choose the "Relaunch" button, it comes up and runs fine. I waiting for once of my scheduled copy jobs to kick off, the same thing happened, SuperDuper crashes on launch. How can i help you to diagnose this. I have the latest updated version of SuperDuper. ________ vapir air one Last edited by bammi; 01-20-2011 at 08:45 PM. |

Bammi,
Superduper launches fine with me with the latest OSX10.4.7 on a G5 2.7 Dual. You could try deleting the preference file and repairing permissions David |

Bammi -- we've been testing with 10.4.7 for some time without trouble. Please copy/paste the crash log (the "Report..." button, or find it in Library/Logs/CrashReporter/SuperDuper!.crash.log off your Home folder) into an email to support, and I'll take a look.

Huh! I wonder what it fixed, but I'm glad to hear you're set, bammi.
