Can't do disk maintainence with Sandbox
I just installed a Sandbox with Shared Users installations on my external firewire drive. One of the main reasons for doing this is to be able to do disk repairs (for example, using Disk Utility) on my main internal hard drive. But when I bootup on my external firewire and try to do a disk repair with disk utility, it will not unmount the my internal HD and I can't proceed. The best I can tell is that the Sandbox setup, sharing applications with the HD system is preventing the unmounting.
Am I missing something? Thanks, Reed |

Sandboxes can't be used for disk repair, because they share applications and user files; since you'll be using those, the internal drive will still be busy...
