Backup speeds for a 1TB media drive
Hi, I'm new to the forum with a quick question before I buy.
I'm planning to consolidate all my media onto a single 1TB-5400 RPM-USB 2 drive and use SuperDuper to back it up to another identical drive. I expect the first back-up will take a long time, which is fine, but I'm curious about the scheduled back-ups later. I anticipate maybe adding a less than a GB a day (at the most) to the media drive by ripping my DVD collection. Using the Smart Update feature it seems that only new information will be added to the back-up drive, correct? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as I'd like to get started this weekend. Thanks, doolybug |
