SD Backup With SSD Card In Ultra Express Slot
Can you shed light on how SD is functioning with this configuration:
I've got my boot drive on an SSD Express Card and the user folder on the internal hard drive. If I run SD ( the app launches from the Apps folder on the SSD), it proceeds to do a backup of the internal drive with no issue. What is the best way for me to backup this configuration in the event of HD or SSD failure. Thanks |

You'll have to back up both the SSD and the user folder on separate volumes or partitions. Note, too, that you'll want an account that isn't linked if you want to restore, so create a maintenance account hosted on the SSD. There's another thread about this same issue on the forums, posted recently...
