Failed to enable

I got a "Failed to enable on " " backup." error. I searched the discussions and found a remedy of powering down computer and peripherals. This didn't seem to work for me. There appears to be nothing on the drive (not good for a backup). Should I just erase it and start over?

Please send the log in using the "Send to shirt pocket" Button so I can take a detailed look.

Yes, it's pretty clear the drive isn't working properly at present (from your logs, and from this behavior).
