Searched a little for the oxford thing in the system profiler and found nothing.

But I found that (yes, my OS is in french):

Bus FireWire :

Vitesse maximum : Jusqu’à 400 Mb/s

ST3250820A :

GUID : 0x101005007777D2
Vitesse maximum : Jusqu’à 400 Mb/s
Vitesse de connexion : Jusqu’à 400 Mb/s

Sous-unités :
ST3250820A Unit :
Version du logiciel de l’unité : 0x10483
Identifiant de l’unité : 0x609E
Révision du programme interne : 0x223
Niveau de révision du produit : 2.23

Sous-unités :
ST3250820A SBP-LUN :
Capacité : 232.89 Go
Support amovible : Oui
Nom BSD : disk1
Gestionnaires OS9 : Non
État S.M.A.R.T. : Non géré

Volumes :
Backup MacBook A :
Capacité : 74.88 Go
Disponible : 49.42 Go
Inscriptible : Oui
Système de fichiers : Journaled HFS+
Nom BSD : disk1s2
Point de montage : /Volumes/Backup MacBook A
Backup MacBook B :
Capacité : 74.88 Go
Disponible : 51.78 Go
Inscriptible : Oui
Système de fichiers : Journaled HFS+
Nom BSD : disk1s3
Point de montage : /Volumes/Backup MacBook B
Autre :
Capacité : 82.57 Go
Disponible : 82.52 Go
Inscriptible : Oui
Système de fichiers : Journaled HFS+
Nom BSD : disk1s4
Point de montage : /Volumes/Autre

I guess that I should have found something like "OXFORD IDE Device 1:" instead of "ST3250820A Unit :" if it was an Oxford drive...

So I guess the extra I paid for the FireWire interface is now worth nothing :/
