Question Negative values while copying

While copying (cloning) to an external Firewire disk I noticed that SuperDuper reports negative values, for both transfer speed and amount transferred (other figures look normal).

Everything seems to operate fine, and the clone is valid, but why would it be showing negative values? (It will say for example Transfer Speed: -53,291.39GB) It didn't use to do this (maybe only since the update to 10.4.6). Thanks

We see this every so often, but haven't been able to reproduce it. It's display only, and doesn't have any effect on copying: try restarting your Mac and see if that fixes it...

Here's an example. It's running right now, on about 1.4TB of data.

Hey, Eric. We've seen this on occasion, and it's actually not due to the data set size -- there's an unusual problem that we've had a lot of trouble reproducing in house. In any case, it won't hurt the backup -- it's display/stats only.
