Smile Weird stuff resolved

This is just for those of you who might not have been able to create a bootable backup, and can't figure out why. I tried and tried and finally figured out something that is not in the manual, and probably not thought of.

I'm a videographer, and so part of my MAC setup is ALWAYS connected via firewire to the active (and always on) Canopus digital interface. This is kind of like using imovie and having your video camera connected and on, ready to have video captured into the computer (a simple analogy).

As soon as I disconnected the firewire from my video gear, all was well! I got a great bootable backup. So, although nobody ever said anything about the software being sensitive to other firewire devices being connected.... it is!

This may help some poor obscure soul (just like me) who just needed to disconnect firewire devices... audio and video... that will make the difference.

This is really great software!

Thanks!
