No, you obviously don't get it.

From the blog post "Leopard Status Update", dated November 16:

Quote:
"Of course, we keep being asked—with various level of politeness—for a timeframe for release... It's not going to be in the next few days: we're hoping within a few weeks."
Then, from the post "Slowest! Update! Ever!", a month later:

Quote:
"At this point, we're basically locked down. We have a few UI tweaks to complete, and we should have a final release out to everyone within a few weeks."
And now, from the latest post (from last Thursday):

Quote:
... hopefully you'll have the new version ... in a week or so.
Do you understand that for the last two months (at least) we've been told that the update would be ready in "a few weeks"? Do you understand that rslvid99 has little reason to believe those estimates anymore?

I think it's completely acceptable for Dave to say (as he more or less is at this point), "I have no idea when it will be ready." That's the nature of software development, especially when you're chasing down a particularly elusive bug. I agree with rslvid99, however, that it's misleading to claim that it will be ready "in a few weeks" when that's necessarily not the case.
