Seriously though, best to let things go sometimes and complete on their own time table, not yours.

With SuperDuper, I have found if a large number of files or a large quantity of MB or GB were deleted from the SOURCE volume and then you run SuperDuper to back it up, it can take a while for the TARGET drive to be made identical to the SOURCE, the deletions can take some time and there is no indication in the log why. I have learned to let it run its course. Waiting 4 minutes is not a long time. I have even seen 20 minutes. If the HDD are under APFS, and they are mechanical drives, those can be very slow under APFS.
So how long should I wait? It's been over 40 minutes and nothing is happening.
It was going fine after I reinstalled the newest version but, this started once again after I upgraded in the app.

Both SSD drives are Mac OS Extended (Journaled) rather than APFS.
