Recommended USB External HD
This is more for Dave...Dave, what USB bus powered external HD do you recommend as of today? Thanks.

I don't generally recommend any bus-powered USB drives: USB doesn't provide much power on the port, and I've found that can cause problems, especially with larger capacity drives.

Do you really need USB?

It's a long story but where I am right now (Singapore with British-style plugs, limited electrical converters and trans-Pacific travel) it's a lot more convenient.

No worries Dave, just thought I'd ask. I do know to avoid the WD USB externals, now, though.
