Boot manager not always shows name of clone
I often try booting my iMac G5 with pressed alt key after cloning. Sometimes the clone will show up with its own volume name, sometimes it will have the same name as the source volume.

We've seen this too, on occasion, but don't know why it occurs. We do set the name of the volume properly, but Open Firmware sometimes doesn't "take" the name.
We've got the issue logged, and will continue to investigate. Thanks for letting me know it's happening to you.
