Backup from several sources to a single target?
Is it possible to back up files residing on more than one hard disk/partition to a single target partition/disk image?
For example, my iTunes files are distributed over a couple of hard disks; most are on my startup internal hard drive, but some of my music resides on an external hard drive. I would like to back up all the iTunes file at once to a third hard drive. I tried the following without success: 1. Copy = "Macintosh HD" (my internal HD) 2. To = "FD Backup Disk" (partition on an external Firewire HD) 3. Using = "All iTunes Files" :: (a new copy script with the following instructions) - a) Include scripts: "Exclude all files" b) Script commands: -- copy Users/xxx/Music -- copy /Volumes/USB Music Disk/iTunes SuperDuper! copies the files from "Macintosh HD" but ignores the files on "USB Music Disk." I thought it would copy them because I am referring to them through the "Copy" disk. (When copying from an external disk, I use "/Volume/external HD name" to access individual files/folders, so I thought it might work in this case, too.) Is there some setting configuration whereby SD can copy from two different disks in one copy operation? Thanks. |

There is not in a single copy operation, no. Sorry!
