Samsung S2 portable drive won't boot OSX?
My new Samsung S2 640GB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive HX-MU064DA/G22 is a great little portable drive but does not appear to be able to boot OSX as a startup drive. After re-formating and copying over OSX with SD!, it can be set as start up drive, but the startup sequence freezes at a grey screen.
Anyone else have experience with this drive yet? I suspect the problem is with "Samsung’s exclusive USB On-board technology [that] reduces the length of the HDD, making the compact external drive smaller than a passport." |
