Prevent folders/files on destination from being deleted (as backups.backupdb one)
Hello,
Still in the process of streamlining my backup drives, I'm stumbling against a little problem. How do I prevent SD from deleting a folder on the destination drive, when that folder is not present in the source? Just wondering if I can script one directory to be left untouched during the backup, just as backups.backupd one is not modified or deleted during a backup. Basically my drive setup is single partition / multiple backups (for more available space flexibility). Thus I have the pretty standard SD+TimeMachine mixed drive and now I would like to add a folder where I would store my Bootcamp partition installs. Is this possible by modifying a copy script? |

You can't: you'd have to partition the drive.
