Recommend 250GB backup drive?
I am looking for a 250 GB drive to use to backup my MacBook Air.
Actually two. (Maybe three. Ideally three, right? One at home, one at the office, one in my laptop bag?) Anyway, let's say at least one at home and one in my laptop bag. The one at home can be big as needed, I'll run it at night when I'm asleep. The one in my laptop bag needs to be as small as possible but still durable. Recommendations? |

Perhaps the LaCie "Porsche Design" drive?

Thanks!
Done.
Bought this one: http://www.amazon.com/LaCie-Porsche-...6408746&sr=8-3 1TB. I figure I'll use the other space for Time Machine. Thanks! |

Bad experiences
I am on my second of these LaCie drives, and will be returning this one also.
They both have repeatedly frozen up on me while in use on my MacBook Air. I'm not sure if it's because they were encrypted with FileVault 2 or what. I realize that my experience with them is a statistically insignificant data point for everyone who is not me, but I thought I'd mention it. |

I've never had a problem. Frozen permanently?
