Formatting partition - Moving from PPC to Intel
I'll be using my licensed version of SD! to move from a PPC PB to an Intel MBP.
I will not have access to the old computer when the new one arrives. So I will need to use migration assistant from a SD! disk image on my backup hard drive. Seeing as I'm moving from PPC to Intel, what's the best way to format the backup drive? For the PPC or the Intel? Any tips on how to make this run as smoothly as possible/best procedure to use when creating the initial backup and then when transferring onto the new computer? Thanks in advance!
