Apfs/hfs
So, I have a new iMac still in the box
I boot from my HFS SD! backup of old Mac And write everything over to the new mac Then upgrade the new Mac's OS if needed Then, when the new Mac is running properly I should reformat the SD! External drive as APFS And then back up the new Mac to the external drive Or is it unnecessary to reformat the drive?
