This is probably an exceedingly stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere; I'm sure I'm missing some obvious instructions somewhere, but.......I need to restore my entire OS after getting my G4 Powerbook repaired; I have a bootable backup on an external firwire drive (done using the SuperDuper), and am able to successfully mount the drive. My question is: how do I actually transfer the backed-up contents of the external drive back to the hard drive in my computer? Do I have to manually drag the contents from the backup drive, or is there another way? Someone has suggested using the Migration Assist utility, but I'm a bit clueless as to all this, and am nervous about losing all my data. Sorry, I'm sure this is a very basic thing. Any help appreciated...
