sandbox creation alt

hmm...SD201 allowed me to create a sandbox from my original boot volume WHILE Booted from a freshly made clone of that volume.

all seems to be functioning as expected. should this practice be frowned upon, or is it simply another way of doing things?

No, that's just fine -- you just don't want to use the clone as the base volume, as it would then be sharing files with the clone, rather than the original.
