Should I let Spotlight index my Sandbox?
I'm booting from my Sandbox (on an external FW drive), as recommended in the Users Guide, and using it to test System updates, etc., before installing them on my internal HD.
I've excluded my actual Backup Clones (on other partitions of the external drive) from Spotlight, because it would just be confusing duplication. But I'm wondering about my Sandbox. At first blush, it seems I should let Spotlight index and search it. Otherwise items installed on the Sandbox but not yet on the internal HD would not show up. But I wonder if there are complications I don't perceive. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on this matter? |
