SD hanging while looking for AFP volume at launch
I recently changed my backup procedure moving from backing up to a sparseimage on a AFP network volume to a local sparseimage on a firewire drive.
Since making the change, and using the same spareimage name, every time I launch SD I get a spinning beach ball while it 'looks' for the old AFP volume, which doesn't exist anymore. It does allow me to cancel the 'look up' but the beach ball continues for a substantial time and then it times out, and returns control of SD to me. At this point SD functions properly. My question is how I can eliminate this AFP volume lookup. I don't see anything in the prefs that is related other than 'remember volumes'. I could turn this off, but I'm hoping for a answer from the creator. Thanks. I love SD! -mw |
