Permission denied to erase the target ?? Help !

Hi

I have a problem to clone an internal Disk from another internal one.


SuperDuper! cannot erase the target disk

This is the first time i have this problem

It looks like you might have a damaged filesystem on the source drive, Bruno...

Nothing more encouraging?

Is there anything i can do before complete reinstalling ?

It seems to work after reparing privileges with disk util !

Well, the problem is on your startup drive, which is neither of the ones you're copying. So I'd archive-and-install on the startup volume...

Well cloning is on the way

I always forget to repare privileges from the start up disk before cloning.
And more, i never repare it on the clone after cloning.

I tell you later the result ...

I hope not to use archive and reinstall, i really do not like this.

Well, here is the result.



SD start fine but stopped to copy certain files (in "USR").

I try to install the 10.5.4 combo update on the start up clone, but it change nothing.

I have to reinstall all my system
