Thanks Dave.
I ran disk utility which repaired 1 of 2(?) volumes on my HD (The drive isn't partitioned!!!). Disk Warrior rebuilt the directory. Now, after installing a new drive 2 weeks ago, the hardware test shows a drive error again, error code 2STF/8/3. This is the same thing I had previously (my thread under "New User Strategy"). I'm starting to get paranoid. Do you have any ideas? Do you think I should do a "smart update" now? Thanks Bill |
