Finder crash

After using SuperDuper to clone my 200GB drive to a new 500GB drive for my MBPro 15, 10.5.6 4GBRAM, I find that each time I restart the machine and login the Finder crashes. Of course, it restarts and then all is well, but this happens every time. Any idea what I need to fix?
TIA
Ron

Not sure what you mean by reinstalling? I cloned from a good system to a new drive. Do you mean I should do a reinstallation of the OS or just the finder?

I didn't say "reinstall". I'd suggest starting up in "Safe Boot" to see if that works. Do so by holding down Shift from power on all the way to the desktop.

If it seems OK, then restart and see if it's normal.
