has been modified and will not be repaired
I am running 10.6
Does anybody knows what this is??? I got this message when repairing permissions with disk utility. Should I "NOT" repair permissions when cloning??? Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired. Thanks |

It's a permission repair issue. Don't worry about it... if it concerns you, I'd turn repair permissions off.

Apple Disk Utility's permissions messages ..
Disk Utility's Repair Permissions messages that you can safely ignore
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448 Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired. Any SUID file basically you can ignore. I have this also after installing Snow Leopard and running software update. -larco Last edited by larco; 09-10-2009 at 11:15 AM. |
