I've been setting up my backup system today and tested some different copy script and made my pre- and post shell script (to backup mySQL and Subversion as well as put the computer to sleep when finished since my after success action is to quit SuperDuper!)
Anyway, it's really time consuming to try the backup when the size is ~50 gb. Even if I use the Smart Update option, every run takes about 15 minutes to complete. I would love to have some kind of "testing mode"/"dry run" option that would check my copy script and settings but just log the files to be copied instead of doing the actual coping. It would be a huge time difference when tweaking the system. Thanks for a great product! |

Thanks for the suggestion, Harald!
