2 backups in Same Partition?
Dnanian,
Is it ok to SD backup my iMac and MBA to the same partition? I know it is better to separate them, but I am running our of space and I'd like not to reformat. GY |

No. You have to partition the drive.

Can't two disk images exist side-by-side in the same partition?

They can, but if it's possible to partition the drive, you should do so. Images, while convenient, are inherently less reliable (because they are more complex).
