Tiger Install
Ok, I'm finally ready to try Tiger out but want to do it on my clone or safety clone. I have a partioned external drive with a safety clone and a clone.
Should I boot from the safety clone and then load Tiger? I want to try it out before I put it on my main drive. Or, should I boot from my main drive and load it onto the safety clone? I know you have told me there will be some data differences between Panther and Tiger, I'm just not sure how to proceed. As always, thanks for all your help. Really, I'm going to finally try out Tiger and will not ask you this process again. |

Installing Tiger involves booting from the DVD, so it doesn't matter where you start from. You just want to make sure you install it to the Safety Clone if you want to be able to roll back.

Thanks Dave. By rolling back do you mean just booting back to my main drive that has Panther?
