synology Nas
Hi,
I have to backup 8 computers each day. For now I have been doing a network backup with SD, using a western digital my book, connected to an imac. As data grow, I would like to use a Nas drive, with some Raid ability. It seems that the Cube Station cs407 from synology would be a good choice, but I have some things I would like to ask : 1- cube station uses EXT3, FAT or NTFS. Can I make a bootable backup with EXT3 file system ? 2- it has Gigabit ethernet and USB interface, no firewire to boot on. Can I restore a computer directly by the network ? thanks for your help. If anyone has any advice for this nas drive, or any other one, it would be great ... Buzio |
