Thanks for your prompt reply. I was thinking that would make more sense than using Migration Assistant on the new machine, since I have a solid backup and just want to replicate that entire environment on the new Mini.

Hello. I'm looking to do the same thing.
I'm looking to use SuperDuper to clone from my source Mac mini 2012 to my new Mac mini 2018 via target disk mode. I thought that would be easiest. It is not turning out to be so. I've found the following instructions in another post. How would the following instructions be modified to accommodate Mojave and APFS? I assume SuperDuper does not care if the disk is attached as an external target disk that happens to be another computer. Thanks. https://www.shirt-pocket.com/forums/...4361#post34361 |
